Born in New York City and raised between Florida and the Berkshires, I returned to NYC full-time in 2014. I have 11 years of teaching and tutoring experience, including positions at Hunter College, the Borough of Manhattan Community College, Columbia University, Berkshire School, and Wesleyan’s Writing Workshop.

For the past decade, I’ve worked with hundreds of students on academic subjects and standardized test prep, including ACT/SAT, SSAT/ISEE, GMAT/GRE, AP subjects. Though I specialize in English, history, and French, I’ve tutoring everything from environmental science to Jewish history.

Outside of teaching, tutoring, and college advising, I’m a fiction writer currently at work on a novel. My partner and I live in Park Slope, where we drink copious amounts of cold brew and (almost always) return library books on time.
