I was born and raised in Atlanta before spending time in St. Louis, NYC, and ultimately Chicago.
Since college, I have loved teaching a variety of subjects to my peers and students. As an undergraduate, I was employed by Wash U’s McKelvey School of Engineering as a Problem Solving Team leader for first-year students and a tutor for students of all ages in various science, math, and engineering courses.
In medical school, I tutored high-school students for standardized exams and in courses such as Honors Physics, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. I was also employed by Weill Cornell Medical College as a tutor for preclinical courses and the US Medical Licensing Exam Step 1 and Step 2.
Integral to my career in medicine is my passion for education. I intend to practice physical medicine and rehabilitation at an academic medical center where I can teach rising doctors how to use their knowledge, bedside manner, clinical acumen, and procedural skills to positively impact patients’ lives. Similarly, I hope to continue tutoring students from middle school through college to help them attain their personal and professional goals.
My research interests include exploring how currently existing technology, as well as devices I may develop, can improve patient experience and function. Outside of medicine and teaching, my passions include soccer, traveling, hiking, cooking, and (very) amateur landscape photography.
